How to report content
There are two ways to report content. Use the one that fits your situation.
Community flag
For everyday concerns — a review that seems off-topic, spammy, or mildly inappropriate. Any signed-in user can flag by clicking "Report" on a review. Flags go to our moderation queue for human review. Reviews are not removed automatically — that would invite abuse.
Formal notice of complaint
For legal complaints — defamation, malicious communication under Cybercrimes Act §9, privacy breaches, or other unlawful content. This is the official notice-and-takedown pathway required to trigger our "prompt removal" obligation under the Defamation Act 2013.
SLA: acknowledged within 24h, resolved within 5 business days
You will need to provide:
- Your name and contact (for follow-up)
- Complaint type (defamation / §9 / privacy / other)
- The specific content complained of and why it's unlawful
Note: Formal complaints are logged and timestamped as part of our legal defence record under the Defamation Act's innocent-dissemination provision. Knowingly false complaints may be disregarded in future. Your complaint details are visible only to moderators and administrators.
